Pilates & Pilachi

Pilates

Pilates, much like yoga, is a beautiful way to reconnect with your body, not just how it moves, but how it feels. It brings awareness to where we are, where we want to go, and how to get there gently, mindfully, and with purpose. It strengthens your muscles, improves your flexibility, enhances mobility, and helps you reclaim your balance (yes, even the kind you didn’t realize you’d lost).

My approach? A little different. A little slower. A whole lot more intentional. I like to infuse each movement with presence and breath, not just doing the exercise, but feeling into it. Mind to muscle. Breath to body. That’s why I’ve created my own blend: Pilachi.

What is Pilachi?

Pilachi is my signature mix of Pilates and Tai Chi—a gentle flow that combines the strength and structure of Pilates with the slow, intuitive energy of Tai Chi. It’s less about how many reps you can do and more about how deeply you can connect to what you’re doing. It’s mindful movement in its truest form.

We use the Reformer, mat, and whatever else feels right in the moment. It’s private, one-on-one, and always personalized to meet you exactly where you are, physically, emotionally, and energetically. It may sound very zen and serious, but I promise, laughter is always encouraged and often guaranteed.

I have my STOTT certification, and am continuing to advance my studies in BASI (a blend of classical pilates techniques and modern fitness with a focus on control).

While I’ve studied the formal methods, I’ve also learned that what your body needs doesn’t always follow a formula. That’s why I’ve created something that flows—not just from move to move, but from soul to self.

You won’t find top 40 remixes pumping through the speakers in my sessions. That kind of high-intensity energy pulls you out of your body. I prefer blues, jazz, soft spa sounds—something chill that slows you down and drops you in. That’s the vibe. That’s the difference.

This isn’t just about getting stronger. It’s about reconnecting. Reclaiming your rhythm. And moving like you mean it.
